The indoor 5-a-side girls' football heat also took place at the Station Centre Omagh, featuring teams from St. Michael’s Donemana, St. Patrick's Newtownstewart, St. Lawrence's Fintona, Our Lady of Lourdes PS Greencastle, St Ronan’s P.S. Recarson, Omagh Integrated P.S., and St. Scire’s P.S.
This indoor Gaelic football competition showcased an impressive array of skills from all participants. Players demonstrated exceptional agility and speed, navigating the confined space with ease. Their ball-handling skills were on full display, with great passing and the ability to execute powerful and accurate shots on goal, even under pressure. Defensively, players exhibited strong tackling and blocking techniques, ensuring a highly competitive and thrilling atmosphere. The goalkeepers, made numerous saves, adding to the excitement of the matches.

After 21 action packed games the league section was completed. St Lawrence’s Fintona & St Scire’s P.S. Trillick topped the table & qualified for the final.
The final was very competitive, St Lawrence's took the lead with a powerful shot from Rose Colton, despite lots of possession St Scire’s struggled to score until Ciara McNabb broke from defence & blasted an unstoppable shot to the left corner of the net. The game ebbed & flowed with strong defensive skills displayed by both teams, so the game ended one goal each. A further period of 3mins extra time was required, St Scire’s were quick off the mark, goals by Amy McGurren & Sophie Corry within 40 seconds of the restart. St Lawrence’s pressed forward and were rewarded with a goal by Sally Colton. Despite their best efforts they could not find a way past Nicole Hannigan in the St Scire’s goal. Therefore, St Scire’s emerge as the winners, final score 3 goals to 2. They now progress to the County Final on Wednesday, 12th March.
