Finals Day 2024
A short video from our Tyrone Cumann na mBunscol Finals Day 2024.
With 72 schools taking part in our competitions the winners from all our outdoor sections made it through to Finals Day to battle it out for our 7 prestigious county final cups.
This year due to the increasing number of girls teams we added the Bertie Foley Cup to the girls section.
We were delighted and very impressed by the quality and high level of skill on show from the schools involved. Your clubs, teachers and families should be very proud.
Based on all the talent on view the future of the Red Hands is certainly bright. ⚪️🔴

This year Tyrone CnmB were also helping to promote the message ‘Stop The Drop’.
In Ireland 1 in 5 children stop participating in sport at the transition from primary to secondary school. CnmB want to support this initiative and help to shine a light on this critical issue in our county.
Allianz Ireland have created the #StopTheDrop resource hub, a one-stop-shop for coaches, teachers and parents to arm them with the knowledge to help support the next generation of players across Ireland, addressing many of the hidden barriers which can result in them dropping out of sport.
In our video you can see the ‘Stop The Drop’ jerseys being worn by a number of our pupils and teams. All our schools were made aware of this initiative and pupils were encouraged to continue to stay involved with their clubs and new schools.
