What a fantastic day of hurling today in Loughview, Dungannon. Roan St Patrick's Eglish, Gaelscoil Eoghain, St Mary's Aughnacloy, St John's Moy, St John's Kingsisland, St Malachy's Glencull, St Mary's Ballygawley and Edendork PS all played wonderfully in an incredibly competitive and sporting competition, as schools fought it out for a place in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Indoor County Hurling Finals.
After a round-robin of games, it was the Eglish boys who topped the table with 7 wins from 7. There was real competition for the remaining 3 qualifying positions with Glencull, Kingsisland and Edendork all finishing on 9 points to earn a final's day spot. Hard luck to Moy and Gaelscoil Eoghain who just missed-out and to Ballygawley who were so competitive in every game and unlucky not to be in contention for the top places.
